Tried a couple of Android emulators, none really working smoothly on 64-bit Windows 7 machine (don't want to bother testing these on my Windows 8 machine at this time).
The reason I am trying emulation is because I want to use Google Play apps for creating manga effects for individual pictures.
Target app is Otaku Camera by Tokyo Otaku Mode. Unfortunately, as I've experienced, emulating Android on a Windows system is a lag-gy, choppy, experience.
Now if only someone could kindly either (1) write a GIMP plug-in which adds similar manga effects to a picture, or (2) port the app to a Windows 7 desktop environment, that would be very helpful !!
